Jessica has been at The Joshua School (TJS) for 10 years.  After completing kindergarten at our home school, it was apparent that she needed so much more than a public school could offer.  Jessica was barely talking, not fully potty-trained and we wondered if she understood the world around her.  Today, she is 16 years old and has been completely transformed by this amazing school, its highly trained staff and the culture of this special place.  Jessica is fully engaged in life: potty-trained, talking non-stop and interacting with her peers.  It is as if her entire being has been awakened.

In January of 2017, Jessica's brother Cole began his journey at The Joshua School in their Transition Program for young adults ages 18-21. They offer 1:1 staff/student ratio with a full range of support. Additionally, these students work at vocational sites based on their individual skills and interest.

Thank you to TJS for believing in these children and making them the best possible versions of themselves that they can be: with unconditional love, patience and a wealth of knowledge on how to reach them and teach them. The Joshua School gives us hope and faith not only for Jessica and Cole, but for every child that walks through their magical doors.  We are overjoyed for the life they have breathed into Jessica and Cole and grateful for the positive impact they have had on our family. We will be forever grateful to this amazing staff.

Much Love,
